I have (PTTLS) this means that I understand that all individuals have different learning styles and some can only take in so much information. Learning in an automatic car only eliminates the clutch and gears; meaning you could be 2 months nearer to your test, saving you from £200 to £350. Everything else you need to know is the same as a manual learner.

I would say once you have passed your test and got road experience say about a year then try a manual and if you don’t pass you can still drive no pressure. If you look for cars say in the paper or on the net, there will be less auto cars than manual cars to go after, but there are still lots of small auto cars out there. I am good with nervous pupils , I do intensive courses ,refresher courses, motorway, PASS PLUS, I can teach you to become a driving instructor (a good one at that) there are some awful ones out there, so be warned don’t stay with someone if you don’t want to, there are many out there.

What Students Say

Why do others say it’s lazy driving an automatic?" The only answer to that is why do you want to work hard driving? If life can be made easier then, we would go down that path, life is hard enough. There are a lot of people out there that cant learn in a manual car as they find it hard to learn.
